One of the hottest scheduled tours in North America in 2014 is called "PRISMATIC" and is being organized by none other than pop princess Katy Perry. The singer of "Roar" and "I Kissed a Girl" announced last week her plans to venture off on a 46 city tour that will take her and her opening acts to some of the largest and most popular venues across the United States and Canada.  

Salt Lake City, Utah is one of the most picturesque locations in the United States. It is a city known for many things, but come this fall, will be known as the host city to Katy Perry's "PRISMATIC" tour. Perry recently announced her third headlining tour will include 46 cities across the United States and Canada. Perry will be joined at the EnergySolutions Arena by Tegan and Sara for this show on Monday, September 29, 2014.

During her tour across North America, Perry will be joined at various times by Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and the Canadian sisters, Tegan and Sara. Fans looking to attend the show in Salt Lake City will get a chance to listen to the electrifying sounds of these two sisters, who first formed their group in 1995. The talented musicians play an equal role in their music as both play multiple instruments and write their lyrics. The duo have toured around the world with many of the most talented artists and groups including fun., Neil Young, Weezer, Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie and Cake. Heading out on tour with Perry will allow them to reach a new audience and gain thousands of new fans each night.

Perry is one of the biggest stars in the music business and has been rewarded for her hard work and dedication to putting out great music with each new single. She is the only artist to spend at least 69 straight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, was called the Woman of the Year in 2012 by Billboard and according to the Recording Industry Association of America and has the third most digital singles sales of any artist in the United States. The EnergySolutions Arena is the home of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association and can seat more than 15,000 fans for concerts. The arena opened in 1991 and has an extensive history that includes hosting the figure skating events at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
