LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- JSplash Apps, the creative mobile applications developer, is proud to partner with US-based publisher, The APP Company. The company's latest game, Hyper Ball is a simple, yet hyper-addictive pick up and play release for the iOS platform. Delivering hours of fun with little to no learning curve, Hyper Ball offers an experience virtually anyone is bound to enjoy.
"We had an awesome time working with The APP Company. The discussions started with a detailed producers report of the original game. We were able to add some really cool features into the game along with many monetizing options," says Bijoy Thangaraj, CEO of JSplash Apps.
Hyper Ball is a chromatic ball-bouncing adventure like no other. Taking place in a colorful, exciting world, users take control of the Hyper Ball in an attempt to survive through progressively challenging levels and barriers by remaining within the boundaries. While tilting or tapping to keep the Hyper Ball in play, gamers strive to obtain power-ups such as the hammer allowing players to smash blocks opening escape routes, or the slowdown to allow the user to catch their breath while venturing through the obstacles. Not only will the standard blocks pose a challenge, but the dangerous TNT blocks causing Hyper Ball to go flying making it difficult to remain within the boundaries, the bouncy blocks giving Hyper Ball a bit of air time with contact, and the disappearing blocks dissolving after a short period of existence. While powering through the treacherous blocks, you will collect points and coins which can be used to purchase incentives such as more coins in the coin blocks or even new balls with their own advantage such as eliminating the effect of the TNT blocks. Hyper Ball features 20 challenge levels with challenges ranging from reaching a certain amount of points to reaching a certain point count without using the hammer power-up. Appearing simple at first glance, Hyper Ball integrates a variety of solid feature sets offering players a unique gameplay experience every time they take on the challenge.
"Hyper Ball is a quick and easy pick up game that I find myself playing when I have just a couple minutes to spare. While remaining simple, Hyper Ball is all but empty with a variety of factors impacting each and every play while encouraging me to continuously outscore my most successful attempt." – says Nick McCandless of TheGamerAccess.com
"Working with JSplash Apps on Hyper Ball has been an experience for The APP Company. The talent involved within making Hyper Ball the amazing release it is, solidifies why our partnership is one I am proud to have made happen," explains Jason Moskowitz a partner at The APP Company. "Hyper Ball, is an insanely addictive iOS release that I am confident will entertain Apple's outstanding consumer base for an endless amount of hours."
Providing the perfect mix of simplicity and entertainment, Hyper Ball looks forward to capturing a wide audience that will put their skills to the test to out score their friends along with themselves.
"Hyper Ball gives you a classic gaming experience with a modern twist. You just can't stop playing" proclaims Anoop Kammaran of JSplash Apps.

Two weeks ago (November 3-5), I attended the Cloud Expo Silicon Valley as a speaker, where I presented on the security and privacy due diligence requirements for cloud solutions. Cloud security is a topical issue for every CIO, CISO, and technology buyer. Decision-makers are always looking for insights on how to mitigate the security risks of implementing and using cloud solutions. Too often with compelling new technologies market participants become overly enamored with that attractiveness of the technology and neglect underlying business drivers. This tendency, what some call the “newest shiny object syndrome” is understandable given that virtually all of us are heavily engaged in technology. But it is also mistaken. Without concrete business cases driving its deployment, IoT, like many other technologies before it, will fade into obscurity.

In today's enterprise, digital transformation represents organizational change even more so than technology change, as customer preferences and behavior drive end-to-end transformation across lines of business as well as IT. To capitalize on the ubiquitous disruption driving this transformation, companies must be able to innovate at an increasingly rapid pace. Traditional approaches for driving innovation are now woefully inadequate for keeping up with the breadth of disruption and change facin...

The Internet of Things is clearly many things: data collection and analytics, wearables, Smart Grids and Smart Cities, the Industrial Internet, and more. Cool platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Intel's Galileo and Edison, and a diverse world of sensors are making the IoT a great toy box for developers in all these areas. In this Power Panel at @ThingsExpo, moderated by Conference Chair Roger Strukhoff, panelists discussed what things are the most important, which will have the most profound...

With all the incredible momentum behind the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, it is easy to forget that not a single CEO wakes up and wonders if “my IoT is broken.” What they wonder is if they are making the right decisions to do all they can to increase revenue, decrease costs, and improve customer experience – effectively the same challenges they have always had in growing their business. The exciting thing about the IoT industry is now these decisions can be better, faster, and smarter. Now ...

I recently attended and was a speaker at the 4th International Internet of @ThingsExpo at the Santa Clara Convention Center. I also had the opportunity to attend this event last year and I wrote a blog from that show talking about how the “Enterprise Impact of IoT” was a key theme of last year’s show. I was curious to see if the same theme would still resonate 365 days later and what, if any, changes I would see in the content presented.

Microservices are a very exciting architectural approach that many organizations are looking to as a way to accelerate innovation. Microservices promise to allow teams to move away from monolithic "ball of mud" systems, but the reality is that, in the vast majority of organizations, different projects and technologies will continue to be developed at different speeds. How to handle the dependencies between these disparate systems with different iteration cycles? Consider the "canoncial problem"...

Culture is the most important ingredient of DevOps. The challenge for most organizations is defining and communicating a vision of beneficial DevOps culture for their organizations, and then facilitating the changes needed to achieve that. Often this comes down to an ability to provide true leadership. As a CIO, are your direct reports IT managers or are they IT leaders? The hard truth is that many IT managers have risen through the ranks based on their technical skills, not their leadership ab...
