CounterPath Recognized as Leading Softphone Client Product for Its BlackBerry and SaaS Offerings

TMC Awards CounterPath with Two Product of the Year Awards Further Validating CounterPath's Strength in the Unified Client Market

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/27/14 -- CounterPath Corporation (NASDAQ:CPAH)(TSX:CCV), a leading developer of award-winning desktop, tablet and mobile VoIP software products and solutions, has been recognized by TMC, a global, integrated media company, for the Company's innovation with their new BlackBerry OS softphone client application and for cracking the code on SaaS by enabling a services based client offering that enterprises can quickly and cost effectively deploy across their organizations, leveraging the iTunes and Google Play online stores.
