There are many musical tours being held in 2014 that fans are eager to see. From One Direction to Lady Antebellum, there has never been a better time to be a music fan. One of the most anticipated tours in the United States and Canada this year is the "PRISMATIC" World Tour featuring Katy Perry. The pop princess will be taking along three different opening acts during the tour including Kacey Musgraves, Capital Cities and Tegan and Sara. Tegan and Sara will be joining Perry at the tail end of the tour and will open for Perry on October 2-3 at the American Airlines Center.

This will be the third headlining tour in the solo career of Perry and her first since her incredibly successful 2011-12 "California Dreams Tour." That tour took Perry to 124 dates around the world and was one of the most critically acclaimed events of the year. The tour earned close to $60 million and earned Perry the "Best Tour Headliner" at the People's Choice Awards. When Perry takes to the stage for the "PRISMATIC" world tour, fans will be witness to another spectacular show from an incredible stage to Perry's popular music.

Among the songs that fans of the pop superstar will want to see performed live include "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "Part of Me," "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," and "Roar." The latter was her debut single off her fourth album, Prism, and was her eighth career No. 1 single. She has since released two other songs off Prism, including "Unconditionally" and "Dark Horse," featuring Juicy J, which could be her ninth No. 1 song on the Billboard charts.

Her travelling mates for the final leg of her tour are the Canadian duo of identical twins, Tegan and Sara. The duo first formed a group in 1995 and have been travelling the world ever since with some of the biggest artists and bands in the music business. They have performed with Neil Young and the Pretenders, Weezer, Ben Folds, Newfound Glory, The Killers and Paramore.

When Perry and company venture to the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, they will likely be playing in front of a packed house of at least 21,000 fans. The arena, the home of the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League, has seen numerous memorable concerts over the years and will add another great show to their resume following Perry's visit.

For organizations that have amassed large sums of software complexity, taking a microservices approach is the first step toward DevOps and continuous improvement / development. Integrating system-level analysis with microservices makes it easier to change and add functionality to applications at any time without the increase of risk. Before you start big transformation projects or a cloud migration, make sure these changes won’t take down your entire organization.
DevOps and microservices are permeating software engineering teams broadly, whether these teams are in pure software shops but happen to run a business, such Uber and Airbnb, or in companies that rely heavily on software to run more traditional business, such as financial firms or high-end manufacturers.
