Roenick said he is excited to start blogging in time for the Sochi games. "I think I was made to blog because I'm certainly not afraid to have an opinion and I like to think it's an informed one. I'm anxious to share my take on Sochi, the inside drama of the Olympics and the incredibly gifted athletes. As a former Olympian, I know what it's like to compete on a world stage and how important it is to represent your country and bring home a medal. Beyond the games, I will always speak openly and honestly in my blog about sports. It's always fun unless you're too soft, so keep your head up."
In addition to his blog, visitors can access JR's social media feeds on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube directly from www.roenicklife.com.
