Home Improvement Expert Ty Pennington to Appear With Guaranteed Rate at 2014 NAHB International Builders Show

Company to Showcase Technology and Solutions for Home Builders at Booth C-1662

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - January 28, 2014) - Guaranteed Rate, one of the ten largest retail mortgage companies in the nation, announced that its national spokesperson, television personality and home improvement expert Ty Pennington, will appear at the company's booth as part of the festivities at the annual National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders Show in Las Vegas next week. The show is being held Feb. 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road.

Pennington will appear at the Guaranteed Rate booth (C-1662) from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Pacific time on Wed., Feb. 5, to meet with show attendees, pose for photos and sign autographs. The first people in line will receive a signed copy of his latest book, Good Design Can Change Your Life: Beautiful Rooms, Inspiring Stories. Other attendees who tweet their photos with Pennington with the #TyBuilders hashtag will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize of an iPad.

Guaranteed Rate will demonstrate how the company makes builders' lives easier -- including its award-winning online loan application which allows new construction buyers to apply online right in the builder's office or in the comfort of their own home, and gives them the ability to monitor their loan status throughout the entire process. The booth will also showcase Guaranteed Rate's Mortgage Center widgets which builders can add to their websites, providing potential buyers with the ability to compare rates, get qualified for a loan, and answer questions about the mortgage process without having to leave to another site. Additionally, Guaranteed Rate offers homebuilders other services, including email updates to buyers and co-branded marketing materials that they can use inside builder packets, model homes or a sales center lobby. During the show, attendees will receive a gift for completing three brief demonstrations of Guaranteed Rate's solutions at the booth's kiosks.

Guaranteed Rate funded nearly $16 billion in loans in 2013 alone, and has grown every year since the company's inception.
