BEW Global Selected as 2013 Best in Biz Award Winner

Award Highlights the Rapid Growth and Industry Recognized-Innovation

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 01/30/14 -- BEW Global has been named a Best in Biz Awards silver winner for Fastest-Growing Small Company of the Year. More than 500 entries were received, from a wide array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada.

"This award comes at an unprecedented time for our company. Over 2013, we increased revenue by 74% and employee head count by 97%," said Robert Eggebrecht, BEW Global President and CEO. "We continue to dramatically expand our services, which offer comprehensive protection for an organization's critical assets."

"Key to our recent growth is the reputation for excellence we have nurtured with our clients. Since our inception in 2002, our passion for critical asset protection has led us to create two key offerings: the first Next Generation Managed Security Services Provider and our Critical Asset Protection Program Approach. Chuck Bloomquist [Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer] and I are very pleased with our team and the positive feedback we receive from clients," said Eggebrecht.

The third annual Best in Biz Awards program, focusing on companies based or operating in North America, was the most competitive in its history, with the highest number of awards submissions to date and the most distinguished judging panel yet assembled. Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2013 were determined by an independent panel of 50 judges from top-tier news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms.

"This year's Best in Biz Awards nominees offer services and products that reflect the most current trends in technology, from cloud computing through mobile devices to network connectivity," said Samara Lynn, lead analyst of networking and business at PC Magazine, judging her second Best in Biz Awards program. "Truly, all of the nominees and winners represent the ongoing innovation and trends in technology that we who cover the space see on a daily basis."
