CollegeScoutingReports.com Extends Free CSR Report Offer

ANNANDALE, N.J., Jan. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CollegeScoutingReports.com, LLC announced today that it is extending its unconditional "Free CSR Report Offer" for college-bound high school student-athletes. Introduced in November 2013, CollegeScoutingReports.com (CSR) is a new specialized information service designed to meet the needs of high school student-athletes who want to know much more about the college coaches and programs they will be playing for.

To give high school athletes and their parents a "taste" of the quality and value of CSR reports, any high school athlete, or their parent, can go to collegescoutingreports.com/freereport.php and select a free CSR Report.  The free report library includes multiple teams and schools from various major sports.

While there are a number of fee-based recruiting services seeking to connect high school athletes with college coaches, there is a clear lack of independent reporting on college teams and coaches focusing on issues like off-season requirements, academic support resources, and quality of life topics.

High school athletes aspiring to compete at all levels and in all sports will benefit greatly from unique insights into the college athlete's experience at those schools that they are considering. There is very little qualitative information on coaches and teams that a high school athlete can use to make experiential comparisons.

"We have identified a major gap in the available information upon which high school students and their families have relied for decades to make decisions about college," said CollegeScoutingReports.com, LLC co-founder Jeff Knapp. "The most basic and critical question a high school student-athlete has about college sports -- 'what's it like to play there?' -- is simply not addressed through today's information channels."

Visitors to CollegeScoutingReports.com can use the CSR Search tool to narrow their college search from an entire database of every college and every college team by various filters.  Once visitors purchase a CSR Library Subscription, they will have access to the ever-increasing CSR library for their sport.

Each CSR Report is a professionally written and researched profile of a college team and the coach, with details on the lifestyle a student-athlete can expect to experience at that school. CSR Reports also include feedback from former athletes on the team; college coaches are invited to add their perspective.

CollegeScoutingReports, LLC is a privately funded information service based in Annandale, NJ. Video: http://www.collegescoutingreports.com/video.php

Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...

What are the new priorities for the connected business? First: businesses need to think differently about the types of connections they will need to make – these span well beyond the traditional app to app into more modern forms of integration including SaaS integrations, mobile integrations, APIs, device integration and Big Data integration. It’s important these are unified together vs. doing them all piecemeal. Second, these types of connections need to be simple to design, adapt and configure...
Traditional on-premises data centers have long been the domain of modern data platforms like Apache Hadoop, meaning companies who build their business on public cloud were challenged to run Big Data processing and analytics at scale. The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers. It was one of the first and best-known examples of projects that make containers truly useful for production use. However, more recently, the container ecosystem has truly exploded. A service mesh like Istio addr...
Adding public cloud resources to an existing application can be a daunting process. The tools that you currently use to manage the software and hardware outside the cloud aren’t always the best tools to efficiently grow into the cloud. All of the major configuration management tools have cloud orchestration plugins that can be leveraged, but there are also cloud-native tools that can dramatically improve the efficiency of managing your application lifecycle.
