One of 12 in the U.S. Jaguar models arrives at Merriam Kans. dealership

Jaguar launches utlra-rare limited edition XK model

MERRIAM, Kan., Jan. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The glimpse of a one of 12 in the U.S. Jaguar vehicle on the road is a rare enough occurrence for most drivers. But actually having the opportunity to own that vehicle is a once in a lifetime dream.

The term, "quantities are limited" doesn't even come close to describing how rare the 2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT is. Completely captivating in every sense of the word, a very exclusive Jaguar supercar has just arrived at the Aristocrat Jaguar showroom located in Merriam Kans. This British-based sports car is only one of 25 that will ever be produced in the world, and 12 of those 25 models have made it onto U.S. soil, making it one of the most sought after performance vehicles on the market.

The 2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT is the "track ready" version of the Jaguar XK model. Fully equipped with state-of-the-art racing components and a fire-breathing supercharged V-8 engine, the XKR-S GT is perhaps Jaguar's most performance-minded vehicle to date. What separates the XKR-S GT from the standard XK models is that virtually everywhere Jaguar could cut weight, new aluminum and carbon fiber components have been swapped in. In addition to the XKR-S GT's weight reduction, a series of custom engineered suspension components and wind-taming body extras have also found their way onto the Jaguar to help stabilize its 542-horsepower drivetrain.

Sounding just as ferocious as it looks, the Jaguar also features a custom exhaust system that lets innocent bystanders and other drivers hear it long before they will ever be able to see it. The 2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT is so performance driven, it gives many supercars from makers like Aston Martin, Ferrari and AMG a run for their money when it comes to the "King of the Track" title.

Aristocrat Jaguar doesn't simply just have this once and lifetime vehicle at their lot for show, the model is actually for sale. Car shoppers who live outside of the Merriam Kans. boarders even have the opportunity to own the XKR-S GT, thanks to Aristocrat's exclusive nationwide shipping services. Drivers interested in the opportunity to own the once in a lifetime Jaguar XKR-S GT are encouraged to contact Aristocrat Jaguar online or by phone at 913-677-3300.

Whether your IoT service is connecting cars, homes, appliances, wearable, cameras or other devices, one question hangs in the balance – how do you actually make money from this service? The ability to turn your IoT service into profit requires the ability to create a monetization strategy that is flexible, scalable and working for you in real-time. It must be a transparent, smoothly implemented strategy that all stakeholders – from customers to the board – will be able to understand and comprehe...
More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smart...
Complete Internet of Things (IoT) embedded device security is not just about the device but involves the entire product’s identity, data and control integrity, and services traversing the cloud. A device can no longer be looked at as an island; it is a part of a system. In fact, given the cross-domain interactions enabled by IoT it could be a part of many systems. Also, depending on where the device is deployed, for example, in the office building versus a factory floor or oil field, security ha...
An IoT product’s log files speak volumes about what’s happening with your products in the field, pinpointing current and potential issues, and enabling you to predict failures and save millions of dollars in inventory. In IT, we sometimes coin terms for things before we know exactly what they are and how they’ll be used. The resulting terms may capture a common set of aspirations and goals – as “cloud” did broadly for on-demand, self-service, and flexible computing. But such a term can also lump together diverse and even competing practices, technologies, and priorities to the point where important distinctions are glossed over and lost.

When it comes to cloud computing, the ability to turn massive amounts of compute cores on and off on demand sounds attractive to IT staff, who need to manage peaks and valleys in user activity.
