Anconia Extends Private Placement

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 01/31/14 -- Anconia Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ARA) ("Anconia" or the "Company") announces that it has extended its current private placement financing (announced on December 20, 2013) of units ("Units") at $0.10 per Unit and flow-through units ("Flow-Through Units") at $0.12 per Flow-Through Unit.

The Company closed the first tranche of the private placement on December 31, 2013, issuing 416,665 Flow-Through Units for aggregate gross proceeds of $50,000. The Company anticipates closing a second tranche by February 28, 2014.
