Artist Launches Clothing Brand with Surreal and Tattoo Themed Graphics

Limited Edition Graphic T-shirts - From a Simple Sketch to Detailed Wearable Art

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Independent clothing brand, Casas Ink, owned by husband and wife team, Aaron and Megan Casas, was launched in July 2013. The graphic t-shirts feature surreal and tattoo inspired artwork created by Aaron, which can be purchased at their online store, www.casasink.com, or at local events in San Antonio, Texas.

Casas Ink offers Classic and Limited Edition screen printed t-shirts, priced at $25 and $29 respectively. The Classic t-shirts include either the Casas Ink logo or mascot on the front, in a black on white or white on black colorway, for a simple, clean look. The Limited Edition t-shirts are detailed surreal and tattoo inspired designs printed in limited quantities. The detailed graphics appeal to both artists and art enthusiasts who appreciate the designs and enjoy the story behind the work. T-shirts are 100% combed ring-spun cotton, which is soft and lightweight. They have a slim fit and are tagless for more comfort. T-shirts are unisex, with sizes ranging from small to xx-large. 

The idea for Casas Ink started when Aaron wanted to get a silk screen printer to print shirts out of their garage as a hobby. This inspired him to forgo the printer and instead focus on creating digital artwork for their own graphic t-shirt business. With Aaron's experience as an artist and graphic designer and Megan's business background, the two began to create the brand, Casas Ink.

Aaron started creating designs, which were dominated by his passion for surreal art and love for tattoos. His graphics were also influenced by his idol, Salvador Dali. As much as Aaron enjoys creating art, he states, "I am always inspired by artists that create something out of nothing." All artwork started as a drawing on paper, and was then transferred to the computer and completed digitally. Each piece of art has a meaning and story behind it, which is described on the website.

The couple launched their online store, www.casasink.com, on July 15th, 2013. In addition to their online store, they have been participating in arts and crafts shows and events in San Antonio, Texas, where they sell Aaron's art to other artists and art enthusiasts. Aaron loves meeting fans and discussing art, inspiration, and his creative process at events. He hopes that in sharing his passion for art, he will inspire others to use and explore their artistic talents as well.
