Anghami Announces Alfa Partnership to Launch the First $1 Music Bundle

BEIRUT, February 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Anghami, the number one legal music service in the MENA region with 4 million+ downloads, announced its partnership with Alfa to offer users in Lebanon unlimited music on the go. Alfa customers can now easier than ever listen to and download songs on their mobiles to enjoy the best music experience on the go.

The Alfa Anghami bundle is available in two plans:

  • For $1 only per month, listen to music, keep 20 songs offline, and enjoy 150MB of 3G data dedicated to Anghami
  • For $3.99 per month, you get to keep unlimited songs offline and enjoy 750MB of 3G data dedicated to Anghami

Eddy Maroun, Anghami CEO and co-founder, commented: "The new $1 is a first in the Middle East and most of the world, combining music and 3G data at this price. We believe Alfa to be a great launch partner for this industry-disrupting plan."

With the help of Alfa, Anghami is giving users an easier way to pay for any Anghami plan, by bundling the subscription with a data plan.

"Our partnership brings us closer to our company mission, allowing customers to carry their music library wherever they go and enjoy listening to their favorite music for a minimal fee. An integrated 3G data plan is a big plus for our users who can stream music worry-free of extra costs. Clearly, such plans allow our operator partners to differentiate their services and increase customer satisfaction," added Elie Habib, Anghami co-founder and CTO.

Customers wishing to subscribe to any of the two Anghami plans can now do so via Alfa with their postpaid or prepaid plans. Subscribing is easy; customers can either call 1454 to ask for the service or dial *111# and follow the steps.

Anghami's growth asserted the demand for real value added services such as music streaming in the region. Anghami is committed to answering this demand, and reaching out to partners to achieve its vision of affordable, legal and user-friendly music service.

With Anghami, users can immediately stream and download millions of Arabic & International songs on their mobile devices, including an iPad version launched
