Seaton Announces it has Acquired Australian Recruitment Process Outsourcing firm, HRX

CHICAGO, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Seaton, a Chicago-based outsourced provider of human capital management, announced it has acquired HRX, a leading recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider headquartered in Sydney, Australia.  HRX will join Seaton's operating brands, which include Staff Management|SMX, PeopleScout and StudentScout and will be known as HRX, a PeopleScout Company.

The combined organization has more than 44,000 employees serving over 200 clients across 71 countries.  This acquisition significantly extends the current global RPO leadership position of the PeopleScout division.

Seaton recently announced 30% organic revenue growth in the fourth quarter of 2013 driven by growth in every service offering and the largest new client win year in the company's history.

"The combination of our PeopleScout division and HRX will bring tangible benefits to RPO clients in the form of enhanced sourcing technology, expanded service offerings, and additional global reach," commented Patrick Beharelle, Seaton CEO.  "This is the first acquisition Seaton has made in the 25 years we've been in business.  We've looked at dozens of acquisitions over our history and firmly believe that HRX represents the best strategic opportunity for Seaton, its employees and its clients."

"Joining the Seaton family of companies is a perfect fit for HRX in terms of culture, access to additional service offerings, and geographic expansion," said Jane Hussey, HRX Managing Director.  "Both firms have a reputation for exceptional service delivery and industry leading client satisfaction rates."

After the acquisition, Taryn Owen, divisional President of PeopleScout, and Jane Hussey will directly report to Patrick Beharelle and the divisions will closely collaborate on global RPO opportunities.

Over the next few days I had many more meaningful conversations and was not only happy with the results but also learned a few new things. Here is everything I learned in those three days distilled into three short points.
DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. However, this is a routine occurrence with enterprise applications that need both a rich desktop web interface and strong mobile support. With recent technological advances from Isomorphic Software and others, rich desktop and tuned mobile experiences can now be created with a single codebase – without compromising functionality, performance or usability. In his session at DevOps Su...
