LUBBOCK, Texas, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- McCleskey, Harriger, Brazill & Graf LLP, a Lubbock-based law firm that handles commercial transactions, civil litigation, personal injury, family law and estate planning, is being honored by the legal ranking service Martindale-Hubbell in its annual list of Texas' Top Ranked Law Firms.
The list of the state's top law firms appears in a special supplement to The Wall Street Journal, Texas Lawyer newspaper, Corporate Counsel magazine, and other legal and business publications. The exclusive annual list is based on the number of AV Preeminent-ranked lawyers at individual firms, the highest ranking available from Martindale-Hubbell.
"We're honored to be recognized on such a prestigious list that includes some of the finest lawyers and law firms in our state," says The McCleskey Law Firm Managing Partner Jerry M. Kolander Jr. "We're pleased to be in such wonderful company."
To compile the list, Martindale-Hubbell researched its massive database of lawyers and law firms, recognizing only those firms with 10 or more attorneys where at least a third of the firms' lawyers maintain the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. That rating is given to lawyers who have demonstrated the highest level of ethical standards and legal ability according to their peers.
Overall, The McCleskey Law Firm is home to nine attorneys who have been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. In addition to Mr. Kolander, that list includes William F. "Pete" Baker, Dennis R. Burrows, Dustin R. Burrows, Benjamin H. Davidson II, Don Graf, Ann Phillips Haag, William P. "Bill" Lane, and Tommy J. Swann.
The McCleskey Law Firm handles commercial transactions and civil litigation for companies in the agricultural, banking, business, energy, health care, insurance, manufacturing and real estate industries. The firm's attorneys have both the legal expertise and industry know-how to provide clients with exceptional counsel in a wide array of legal cases. They also provide decades of experience representing individuals in personal injury, family law, estate planning and other important matters.

Without a clear strategy for cost control and an architecture designed with cloud services in mind, costs and operational performance can quickly get out of control. Fact: storage performance problems have only gotten more complicated, as applications not only have become largely virtualized, but also have moved to cloud-based infrastructures. Storage performance in virtualized environments isn’t just about IOPS anymore. Instead, you need to guarantee performance for individual VMs, helping applications maintain performance as the number of VMs continues to go up in real time.
