But What Are They Doing Every Other Day Of The Year To Support Animals?
WASHINGTON, Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- There are those in the United States who look forward to Super Bowl Sunday for reasons other than to watch their favorite two legged players. These individuals are watching for the Puppy Bowl, the program that airs at 3:00 p.m. before each Super Bowl and showcases adorable pups "playing football" on all fours.
Last year, the Puppy Bowl drew 12.4 million viewers and this year was no different. It is obvious that Americans love animals, yet animal abuse is still ever prevalent as ever. So we at Press the President are asking Americans to step up and discuss how we can combat animal abuse and show our love for our furry friends on the 364 days of the year when we don't have Puppy Bowl obligations.
According to dosomething.org, it is estimated that there are 900 to 2,000 new cases every year of animal hoarding in the US, with a quarter of a million animals falling victim. Additionally, Over 100 million animals – mice, rats, dogs, cats, rabbits, monkeys, birds, among others – are killed in U.S. laboratories for chemical, drug, food, and cosmetics testing every year.
"Animals don't have a voice; we need to be their voices," said the Founder of Press the President. "By writing or video blogging for Press the President about what you think Congress and the president should be doing to combat animal abuse, you are educating the public and pushing Americans to take a stance on this important issue. Sign-up to write today and be the voice of our four-legged friends."

"Once customers get a year into their IoT deployments, they start to realize that they may have been shortsighted in the ways they built out their deployment and the key thing I see a lot of people looking at is - how can I take equipment data, pull it back in an IoT solution and show it in a dashboard," stated Dave McCarthy, Director of Products at Bsquare Corporation, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at @ThingsExpo, held November 1-3, 2016, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
