WARREN, Mich., Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Art Van Furniture has opened its doors in Fort Wayne, and the public is invited to participate in the retailer's fun, family-friendly official grand opening celebration throughout the day on Saturday, February 8. The new Art Van Furniture location (311 Coliseum Blvd. across the street from the Glenbrook Mall) features 46,000 square feet of furniture, mattresses and an Art Van Clearance Center. The Midwest's No. 1 furniture and mattress retailer's first Indiana store debuted in Merrillville-Hobart last year.
Families attending the grand opening celebration will enjoy face painting, clowns, musical entertainment, and other free activities for children between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and the first 500 guests will receive a complimentary personal coffee maker. Area residents can register to win wonderful prizes, including a two year lease on their choice of a Ford F-150 truck or Lincoln MKX car, or a $2,000 Art Van Furniture shopping spree. No purchase necessary.
