LUDHIANA, India, February 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Denimsandjeans.com Bangladesh, brought in association with Denim Expert Ltd, is ready to provide a platform which will enable the large ecosystem of the denim supply chain to get together at one place. Companies from the US, Italy, Japan, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, etc. will showcase their products to give it a true international perspective.
Bangladesh is the second largest producer of denim apparel worldwide. In 2012 it shipped over 185 million pieces of denim jeans worldwide. These include 117 million pieces of denim apparel to the EU, second only to China and 67 million pieces of denim apparel to the USA, third only after China and Mexico. It exports a large quantity of denim tops and bottoms to other countries around the world, including South America, Africa, Japan and other countries in South East Asia. It enjoys preferential treatment in the EU with its GSP and duty free access to markets in India and some other countries. The unique thing about Bangladesh is that most of its 5,600 factories are concentrated in a limited geographical area around capital city Dhaka and the port city Chittagong. This creates the most unique cluster for denim and other apparel manufacturing worldwide. Another major factor that goes in favour of Bangladesh is its huge pool of over 4 million skilled and semi-skilled labour, including women, which is difficult to find in other countries. Large retailers around the world source over $20 billion worth of garments from Bangladesh through own offices or over 300 buying offices located mainly in Dhaka. Bangladesh has also climbed up the value chain as it caters to more and more high-end buyers worldwide.
This denim show is an invite-only event where visitors need to register and get an invitation to attend.
Denimsandjeans.com is a web portal dedicated to the denim industry for over seven years. The founder, Sandeep Agarwal, has been associated with the denim industry for over two decades. Latest denim news, reports, trends, etc. from around the world are published on the site regularly.

Complete Internet of Things (IoT) embedded device security is not just about the device but involves the entire product’s identity, data and control integrity, and services traversing the cloud. A device can no longer be looked at as an island; it is a part of a system. In fact, given the cross-domain interactions enabled by IoT it could be a part of many systems. Also, depending on where the device is deployed, for example, in the office building versus a factory floor or oil field, security ha...
