Fashion-Tech Startup STYLEMATIC Hosts Launch Party and Fashion Show in San Francisco

Hot fashion-tech startup, STYLEMATIC, announces its launch party and fashion show Feb. 18, 2014 at Broadway Studios, 435 Broadway in the North Beach district of San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. The event introduces a fun and addictive mobile app that delivers style recommendations and instantly complements user preferences. The app leverages its user base to provide a global, crowd-sourced perspective for personalizing fashion recommendations.

STYLEMATIC’s launch party and fashion show features keynotes from Northface CEO & Founder, Hap Klopp and iFabbo Social Media Conference founder, Sinead Norenius. Together with special guest Patricia “Savitri” Burbank, co-founder of One World Children’s Fund, and a curated fashion show hosted and produced by Nkechi, founder of The Emeruwa Music Foundation, the event will serve up stylish fun with red carpet photos, a trunk show of local designers, goody bags, and a live DJ and after party.

“I am inspired by beauty and constantly strive to capture it. Although the quest to be beautiful could easily be misconstrued as vanity, I believe that expression of one’s truest essence is a very uplifting and positive experience,” shares Karen Song, CEO and founder of STYLEMATIC.

“There’s something delightful about discovering a beautiful dress or handbag in the store and making it your own by wearing it. I created STYLEMATIC to provide users with a fun, supportive environment for seeking fashion advice and expressing their own personal style.”

STYLEMATIC is an advanced fashion mobile app that is free to download in the iPhone app store. The app is a virtual fashion assistant that delivers increasingly personalized style recommendations over time. Users simply bookmark their preferences by snapping pictures or bar code scanning items to receive targeted suggestions from STYLEMATIC’s proprietary style recognition algorithm.

In recent years, containers have taken the world by storm. Companies of all sizes and industries have realized the massive benefits of containers, such as unprecedented mobility, higher hardware utilization, and increased flexibility and agility; however, many containers today are non-persistent.
