Remedy Informatics to Discuss Ontology-Driven Clinical Intelligence at 21st Annual Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference in San Francisco

Key Remedy thought leaders will share ideas and solutions to the unique challenges faced by researchers and clinicians today as they engage in translational and cross-disease research

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Remedy Informatics announced today that Gary Kennedy, Founder & CEO, and Bruce Pharr, VP, Bioinformatics Systems will present at the Cambridge Healthtech Institute's Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference in San Francisco, February 9-14 (Booth #406).

Mr. Pharr's presentation will focus on the optimal conditions for the discovery of clinical insights through effective management and reuse of data. Mr. Pharr will share his vision of what a next-generation bioinformatics system should look like, combining an improved biobank management model with a master ontology that controls all input and output, all flexible enough to meet the specialized needs of everyone involved in cross-disease research. His presentation will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at 3:50PM as part of the Biospecimen Science and Sample Prep and the Clinical and Translational Science Tracks.

This will also be Mr. Kennedy's third year participating in the "Emerging Technologies and Industry Perspectives" Plenary Keynote Panel, taking place on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at 8:00AM. Other Remedy team members participating at MMTC include Wessam Sonbol, product manager, clinical research & informatics, who will be a roundtable moderator for discussions taking place during the conference.
