Shocking New Tech Redefining How Students Learn, Mind Wiz, Launches on Kickstarter

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mind Wiz Labs, a new Indie game company, just launched its new Kickstarter project for "Mind Wiz." Reinventing the language learning process, they claimed it is the best language learning game on the planet.

Presently, students have to lug heavy backpacks full of books. In the near future, classrooms will digitize textbooks through the use of an iPad or similar tablet device. Mind Wiz Labs argues that the real revolution is in the form of beautifully animated dynamic games to supplement the standard static textbook-only studying technique. They further state that immersive learning entertainment is the future of portable devices and that their flagship product, Mind Wiz, is just the first step in realizing that vision.

"Everyone knows that kids and even adults are fanatical about games. This has been a problem with their studies. A distraction. Nobody disputes this. It's a fact.  But, what if games, instead of being a problem, can be the solution? It's my opinion that this enemy of learning can, in fact, be its salvation. The only problem is finding a company to step up and deliver a learning game of high-enough entertainment value to compete with the exciting but mindless eye candy that dominates the genre. For the first time in history, Mind Wiz is doing just that," said Michael Wilson, president of Mind Wiz Labs.

Mind Wiz Labs launched the "Mind Wiz" Kickstarter project because they don't have the financial muscle of the big game studios. They said that it's a David vs. Goliath battle and the support of the Kickstarter community will give them the jumpstart they need to take Mind Wiz to the next level, by pioneering a new path in merging education with gaming entertainment for mobile devices.

"We can be so bold because we believe in this vision; big game companies would never dare this without extensive market research and financial risk-reward analysis," said Brada Jiang, vice-president.

There is an ever-growing explosion of new devices that are connected to the Internet using “cloud” solutions. This rapid growth is creating a massive new demand for efficient access to data. And it’s not just about connecting to that data anymore. This new demand is bringing new issues and challenges and it is important for companies to scale for the coming growth. And with that scaling comes the need for greater security, gathering and data analysis, storage, connectivity and, of course, the...
A critical component of any IoT project is the back-end systems that capture data from remote IoT devices and structure it in a way to answer useful questions. Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle large data sets, but they are not well suited to many IoT-scale products and the need for real-time insights. At Fuze, we have developed a backend platform as part of our mobility-oriented cloud service that uses Big Data-based approache...
