Tango Networks and SpiderCloud to Demonstrate UC/PBX Small Cell Integration

Frisco, TX, February 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Tango Networks, a leading technology provider that enables enterprises to embrace the power of mobile collaboration with any mobile phone, and SpiderCloud Wireless, the leading provider of scalable small cell Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN) systems, today announced the two companies will demonstrate the Tango Networks Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC) and advanced PBX services using the SpiderCloud Services Node (SCSN) at the SpiderCloud Wireless booth in Hall 2 East (H2S3) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain Feb 24-27, 2014. Both companies will also be on display in the Intel booth in Hall 3 (3D30).

The growing demand for mobility in the workplace requires a targeted multi-access small cell system that extends connectivity across the enterprise without requiring a special handset or dialer application or by forcing mobile voice to go over Wi-Fi. A scalable system that can provide reliable mobile coverage and capacity inside buildings helps mobile service providers monetize their small cell installations by extending Mobile UC services and providing high quality wireless access to enterprise customers.

Using standard mobile handsets with no special client or application software on the device, Tango Networks’ Small Cell Connect solution integrated with the SpiderCloud Services Node enables mobile operators to provide enterprises with the ability to extend their Mobile UC and PBX services from their existing IP telephony networks through their small cells as part of the trusted carrier macro-cellular network. The solution extends optimized Mobile UC and PBX features and services both inside and outside the enterprise, enabling employees to use their mobile phone just like a desk phone.
