Tango Networks and SpiderCloud to Demonstrate UC/PBX Small Cell Integration

Frisco, TX, February 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Tango Networks, a leading technology provider that enables enterprises to embrace the power of mobile collaboration with any mobile phone, and SpiderCloud Wireless, the leading provider of scalable small cell Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN) systems, today announced the two companies will demonstrate the Tango Networks Mobile Unified Communications (Mobile UC) and advanced PBX services using the SpiderCloud Services Node (SCSN) at the SpiderCloud Wireless booth in Hall 2 East (H2S3) at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain Feb 24-27, 2014. Both companies will also be on display in the Intel booth in Hall 3 (3D30).

The growing demand for mobility in the workplace requires a targeted multi-access small cell system that extends connectivity across the enterprise without requiring a special handset or dialer application or by forcing mobile voice to go over Wi-Fi. A scalable system that can provide reliable mobile coverage and capacity inside buildings helps mobile service providers monetize their small cell installations by extending Mobile UC services and providing high quality wireless access to enterprise customers.

Using standard mobile handsets with no special client or application software on the device, Tango Networks’ Small Cell Connect solution integrated with the SpiderCloud Services Node enables mobile operators to provide enterprises with the ability to extend their Mobile UC and PBX services from their existing IP telephony networks through their small cells as part of the trusted carrier macro-cellular network. The solution extends optimized Mobile UC and PBX features and services both inside and outside the enterprise, enabling employees to use their mobile phone just like a desk phone.

“The growing demand for both Corporate-liable and personal Bring-Your-Own-Device mobility solutions in the workplace requires not only adequate coverage and capacity but also integration with enterprise business processes,” said Gilles Allain, Senior Vice President International Sales at Tango Networks. “Integrating our market-leading Mobile UC applications including Mobile Call Recording and extensive PBX integrations with SpiderCloud’s unique small cell services architecture provides the seamless mobility users require to effectively conduct business.”

“The joint integration of SpiderCloud and Tango Networks’ solutions helps speed up adoption of mobile Unified Communications inside the enterprise,” said Amit Jain, VP Product Management at SpiderCloud Wireless. “By providing a managed small cell network with reliable mobile voice and data access integrated with the enterprise’s existing IP telephony network, mobile operators become a true trusted partner for their enterprise customers for the complete mobile experience beyond just access and devices.”

Tango Networks and SpiderCloud will be demonstrating the solution live at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, February 24-27 in the SpiderCloud Wireless booth in Hall 2 East (H2S3) and on display in the Intel booth in Hall 3 (3D30). Interested parties can request a meeting by sending an email to [email protected] or [email protected] or by stopping by the SpiderCloud and Intel booths.

The session is centered around the tracing of systems on cloud using technologies like ebpf. The goal is to talk about what this technology is all about and what purpose it serves. In his session at 21st Cloud Expo, Shashank Jain, Development Architect at SAP, will touch upon concepts of observability in the cloud and also some of the challenges we have. Generally most cloud-based monitoring tools capture details at a very granular level. To troubleshoot problems this might not be good enough.
The dynamic nature of the cloud means that change is a constant when it comes to modern cloud-based infrastructure. Delivering modern applications to end users, therefore, is a constantly shifting challenge. Delivery automation helps IT Ops teams ensure that apps are providing an optimal end user experience over hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments, no matter what the current state of the infrastructure is. Smart cities have the potential to change our lives at so many levels for citizens: less pollution, reduced parking obstacles, better health, education and more energy savings. Real-time data streaming and the Internet of Things (IoT) possess the power to turn this vision into a reality. Data scientists must access high-performance computing resources across a wide-area network. To achieve cloud-based HPC visualization, researchers must transfer datasets and visualization results efficiently. HPC clusters now compute GPU-accelerated visualization in the cloud cluster. To efficiently display results remotely, a high-performance, low-latency protocol transfers the display from the cluster to a remote desktop. Further, tools to easily mount remote datasets and efficiently transfer...
In a recent survey, Sumo Logic surveyed 1,500 customers who employ cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). According to the survey, a quarter of the respondents have already deployed Docker containers and nearly as many (23 percent) are employing the AWS Lambda serverless computing framework. It’s clear: serverless is here to stay. The adoption does come with some needed changes, within both application development and operations. Tha...
Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters across multiple teams is even harder. Kubernetes offers several constructs to help implement segmentation and isolation. However, these primitives can be complex to understand and apply. As a result, it’s becoming common for enterprises to end up with several clusters. Thi...
