The Nextbook Premium 8HD features Google Play and preloaded Android apps from Google, as well as the Barnes and Noble NOOK for Android app. With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a dual-core processor and 8GB memory, users can surf the Internet, read books, play games and stream videos smoother than ever on its high-resolution capacitive touch screen. The Premium 8HD also features dual webcams, an HDMI-out port, a USB 2.0 slot, and a microSD card slot.
The pre-loaded VUDU Movies and TV app brings thousands of new releases, Hollywood classics, independent films and TV shows to the Nextbook Android tablet. The entertainment app is free and requires no subscription to access content. VUDU supports UltraViolet, the movie industry's initiative that allows consumers to put their purchased movies into a cloud-based digital library and keep track of them safely and securely. VUDU is able to offer customers the ability to watch and purchase UltraViolet-enabled titles directly from vudu.com.
