Independent Research Firm Cites Peoplefluent as a Leader for Vendor Management Systems

Peoplefluent®, a leading social human capital management (HCM) technology company, has been named a leader for vendor management systems (VMS) in both the “VMS SOW/Project Capabilities” and “VMS Contingent Capabilities” Wave categories, according to The Forrester Wave™: VMS, Q1 2014 from Forrester Research, Inc.

According to the report, “Peoplefluent complements its VMS with a comprehensive HR application suite.” As a result of being more aligned with HR teams than sourcing ones, “Peoplefluent offers a strong view of how VMS plays a role in a unified view of talent.” In addition, Peoplefluent’s November 2013 release of its VMS solution “included a Wizard that helps firms make decisions about whether to use contingent or SOW resources.”

Through Forrester’s 85-criteria evaluation of VMS vendors, the Forrester Wave report considered vendor’s current offering, strategy, and market presence among companies that demonstrated a comprehensive and standalone VMS offering, significant market presence or innovative solutions and strong customer interest. The report measured how well each vendor fulfilled the criteria and where they stand in relation to each other to help sourcing and vendor management (SVM) professionals select the right partner for their contingent workforce and SOW/services procurement software needs.

“Peoplefluent’s VMS total workforce solution enables enhanced visibility into the extended workforce, allowing organizations to better manage spend, compliance, risk and efficient sourcing strategies,” said Jeff Carr, president and CEO, Peoplefluent. “We are thrilled to be recognized as a leader in the Forrester VMS Wave report as we consistently strive to help our valued customers navigate the changing economic climate and shifting demands for productivity and efficiency sourcing, hiring and managing today’s blended workforce.”

As part of Peoplefluent’s comprehensive HR application suite, its VMS solution addresses today’s blended workforce to ensure alignment, assessment, measurement and productivity across the enterprise. The solution helps improve operational efficiencies, cost controls, compliance and invoice controls for contingent staffing and professional services spend. As a key differentiator, Peoplefluent’s VMS solution views the contingent and services procurement workforce as a strategic component of the overall human capital management strategy.

The platform must handle a wide range of rec...

The current age of digital transformation means that IT organizations must adapt their toolset to cover all digital experiences, beyond just the end users’. Today’s businesses can no longer focus solely on the digital interactions they manage with employees or customers; they must now contend with non-traditional factors. More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smart...
