American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb Awareness Event Held at TENTEN Wilshire

Luxury Los Angeles Downtown Apartment Complex Plays Host for February 4 Kickoff Party Meant to Spread Awareness of Air Quality, Asthma, Lung Disease and Cures

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/11/14 -- TENTEN Wilshire, a multi-use luxury high rise residential and commercial complex in downtown Los Angeles, was the sight of the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb awareness event on February 4. Touted as a "kickoff party," the event was marketed as a way for individuals to share stories of hope and inspiration as well as for the American Lung Association to spread awareness of air quality, asthma, lung disease and cures. With TENTEN, the luxury downtown Los Angeles apartment complex circuit has never been so unmatched and through events such as the Fight For Air Climb, the facility's contributions to the community have become renowned. As top TENTEN representatives put it, hosting this kickoff party was just one of the many fine examples of the complex's genuine care.

The Fight For Air Climb is a fundraising effort towards the goal of living in a world free of lung disease. Teams are formed and money generated through sponsors, while teams climb stairs and staircases to promote lung health. According to the American Lung Association, walking stairs is a "fantastic example" of an exercise that benefits not only cardiovascular health but respiratory health as well; as such, it is logical that this activity would be the one chosen to generate funding for creating a lung disease-free environment.

Since its inception, the Fight For Air Climb in Los Angeles has raised awareness and over half-a-million dollars to support the program, advocacy and research for the American Lung Association in California. Attendees get involved by registering as a team captain, joining an existing team as a new registrant, signing up as an individual registrant, sponsoring the event, joining the event planning committee, making a contribution supporting a registrant and more.

The TENTEN facility, as a fully furnished apartment complex, offers short term stay apartments as well as luxury condo units that boast sophisticated architecture, elegant interior design and creature comfort elements such as panoramic views, stainless steel appliances and fine linens. Enhancing life at TENTEN is the latest in technology, complemented perfectly by full-service amenities encompassing luxuriously-furnished conference rooms, business centers and more, ideal for meetings and networking.

Specifically designed from the ground up with tenants' leisure indulgences in mind, TENTEN allows residents to appreciate the simple pleasures of a balanced lifestyle through relaxing by the pool, enjoying a rooftop event, uncorking a bottle from their own private wine cellar or reveling in the jaw-dropping skyline while exercising in the high-tech gym located 200 feet above the ground.

Developing software for the Internet of Things (IoT) comes with its own set of challenges. Security, privacy, and unified standards are a few key issues. In addition, each IoT product is comprised of (at least) three separate application components: the software embedded in the device, the back-end service, and the mobile application for the end user’s controls. Each component is developed by a different team, using different technologies and practices, and deployed to a different stack/target –...
