BIS2 today announced that Monaco-based Monte-Carlo SBM has purchased BIS²’s floorVizPLUS and aimViz business intelligence software for its world-famous Monaco gaming and resort destinations. Monte-Carlo SBM joins the rapidly increasing number of casino operators around the globe that are recognizing the value of the BIS2 technology to help improve their casino operations, marketing campaigns and customer servicing.
GTECH International is the international agent/distributor for BIS² and served as the BIS² representative in developing this European agreement with Monte-Carlo SBM.
“We’re very pleased to be partnered with BIS² in this agreement with Monte-Carlo SBM,” said GTECH Casino Systems Managing Director, Marc Attal. “BIS² simply provides the best gaming analytical product around. Their software allows the Monte-Carlo casinos to perform advanced data visualizations on slot machine performance and customer behavior that will quickly provide a substantial return on investment. It also demonstrates GTECH’s continued strategy of creating value for customers by adopting best-in-class solutions."
floorVizPLUS, the BIS² gaming floor analytics module, and aimViz, the revenue and customer analytics module of BIS²’s award-winning gameViz™ software suite have been installed in both the Casino Cafe de Paris and Sun Casinos. The GALAXIS Casino Management System, provided by GTECH and its gaming product brand, SPIELO, integrates seamlessly with floorVizPLUS and aimViz, providing the benefit of valuable insight gained from Slots and Player Club analysis.
“Our casinos attract a range of players from regular local patrons to high rollers from every corner of the globe,” said Jean-Luc Biamonti, CEO of Monte-Carlo SBM. “aimViz allows us to perform sophisticated analysis of our entire customer base to better service and optimize our clientele. Meanwhile, floorVizPLUS gives us tremendous insights into the performance of our slots, allowing us to keep our gaming floors optimized. Both products feature Super Graphics, which provide easy-to-understand and actionable analytics that would be far more difficult and time-consuming to gather using traditional spreadsheet methods.”
“The demand for the BIS2 products from both the existing and the emerging gaming markets around the world has been tremendous. Our special relationship with GTECH is enabling us to capitalize on these opportunities and benefit all parties, including casino operators such as SBM,” said BIS² President Mukesh Gordhan. “Monte-Carlo is one of the most fabled gaming destinations in the world, and we are delighted Monte-Carlo SBM has installed BIS²’s business intelligence software at two of its casinos.”
Developing software for the Internet of Things (IoT) comes with its own set of challenges. Security, privacy, and unified standards are a few key issues. In addition, each IoT product is comprised of (at least) three separate application components: the software embedded in the device, the back-end service, and the mobile application for the end user’s controls. Each component is developed by a different team, using different technologies and practices, and deployed to a different stack/target –...
