SYZYGY Group acquires majority stake in award-winning Ars Thanea

London, 11 February 2014: Digital communication and marketing network, SYZYGY Group has raised its shareholding in Warsaw-based agency Ars Thanea from 26 to 70 per cent. With a current revenue of £2.5 million, Ars Thanea is internationally recognised for its high quality work in the field of digital illustration, animation and interactive design.

SYZYGY Group expects its revenues to increase by 20 per cent to £35 million in 2014 with Ars Thanea forming a core part of the company's growth strategy. Ars Thanea's 50 skilled employees will add to SYZYGY's existing team to create a combined talent pool of 450 people.

Co-Founder, Peter Jaworowski of Ars Thanea has repeatedly been named in the top 10 within AdWeek´s Talent List and has now built a team of 50 skilled employees. Bartlomiej Rozbicki, CEO of Ars Thanea commented: "We have been co-operating closely with SYZYGY for over four years now during which time we have learned of the common values we share, not only as companies but as people. Being part of the Group will stabilise our position in foreign markets, particularly in Europe and the US, but what's even more significant is the opportunity that our joining of forces presents. In a competitive market, we were looking for an independent and flexible partner, SYZYGY Group fits the bill perfectly at this stage in our development. Without doubt everyone will benefit from the strengthening of this relationship."
