Retail Solutions to Moderate Panel Discussion at First Annual ECR Supply Chain Conference in Russia

ECR Russia is a non-commercial partnership of 60 retailers and consumer goods manufacturers who work together to grow the common business by generating demand and enhancing supply chain efficiency.  The inaugural event will bring together supply chain directors, brand managers and executive leaders to discuss and debate hot-button issues driving the industry and how to blend established international practices with the domestic realities of business in Russia.

Leading Russian retailers including X5, Dixy, O'Key and Metro will be represented on the panel alongside international consumer goods manufacturers including Coca-Cola, Nestle, Carlsberg, Unilever and Mondelez. Supporting the ECR organizational mission of working together to fulfill consumer wishes better, faster and at less cost, the panel discussion at ECR Russia will explore the following key topics:

  • How to build trust and work together to move toward a common goal: improving the efficiency of the supply chain.
  • How to increase logistic efficiencies, reduce excess inventory and drive down overall costs by encouraging collaboration and daily data sharing with trading partners.
  • How to reduce out-of-stocks and increase on-shelf availability.
