The Pressroom -- New Venue to Open In Downtown Phoenix Warehouse District

Well-known music promoter Danny Zelisko Presents will host national music acts at the new space.

PHOENIX, Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pressroom, located in the heart of the downtown Phoenix Warehouse District at 441 W. Madison Street, is set to open this month. Built in the 1920's, the 14,000 square foot, red brick building once housed the city's most modern printing press of the time, and will soon serve as the backdrop for many recognized, as well as new names, in the music industry, thanks to Danny Zelisko.

With a full liquor license, indoor 1000+ person capacity and ample outdoor space, the venue will accommodate concerts, weddings, private parties, corporate meetings, performing and visual arts and sporting events. But the team is especially excited about Danny's involvement.  Zelisko, who has been promoting concerts in Arizona and elsewhere since 1974, has become a household name in the music scene. You'd be hard pressed to find a band he doesn't know, or an autograph he doesn't have.

"Downtown Phoenix is ready for a mid-sized concert venue," said Zelisko. "There's nothing like seeing a big name or someone on their way up in their career, in an intimate space to connect you to the experience."

Though events have previously been held at the location, The Pressroom - started by partners Jason Charles and Narender Raju - plans to take it to the next level with a full bar, professional audio and visual equipment, and a full-service experience. Charles also owns Latest Craze Productions and Raju, RSVP Special Events.

"I've been looking forward to working with Danny Zelisko for 20 years!" says an excited Charles. "The addition of another destination for live music in downtown Phoenix is a big win for everyone."

Raju adds, "Having Danny involved in this project is going to be an incredible experience for all of us."

Though The Pressroom will be officially opening in mid-February, Zelisko will be hosting a VIP reception on March 6th with a special evening of music.

The Pressroom website will be live in the coming weeks. People can follow The Pressroom's Facebook page<https://www.facebook.com/thepressroomaz> for information on upcoming events until then.

The cloud has transformed how we think about software quality. Instead of preventing failures, we must focus on automatic recovery from failure. In other words, resilience trumps traditional quality measures. Continuous delivery models further squeeze traditional notions of quality. Remember the venerable project management Iron Triangle? DevOps tends to focus on the relationship between Dev and Ops, putting an emphasis on the ops and application infrastructure. But that’s changing with microservices architectures. The basic integration architecture, as defined by ESBs, hasn’t changed for more than a decade. Most cloud integration providers still rely on an ESB architecture and their proprietary connectors. As a result, enterprise integration projects suffer from constraints of availability and reliability of these connectors that are not re-usable across other integration vendors. However, the rapid adoption of APIs and almost ubiquitous availability of APIs amongst most SaaS and Cloud applications are ra...

While DevOps most critically and famously fosters collaboration, communication, and integration through cultural change, culture is more of an output than an input. In order to actively drive cultural evolution, organizations must make substantial organizational and process changes, and adopt new technologies, to encourage a DevOps culture. Moderated by Andi Mann, panelists discussed how to balance these three pillars of DevOps, where to focus attention (and resources), where organizations migh...
