Kapow Showcases Latest Data Integration Software at Chief Data Officer European Leadership Forum in London

Kofax Limited (NASDAQ and LSE: KFX), a leading provider of smart process applications for the business critical First Mile of customer interactions, today announced that Kapow, a Kofax company, will demonstrate and discuss its latest data integration solution, Enterprise 9.3, at the Chief Data Officer (CDO) Leadership Forum at Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel in London, February 25-26.

The emergence of the CDO role, which could quickly become as important as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), stems from the explosive growth of data and the increasing recognition of the value of that data in business decision-making. According to Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, 17 percent of organizations will have hired CDOs by the end of 2014.1

The CDO Leadership Forum brings together speakers from several leading UK institutions, including Barclays Bank, HSBC and the National Health Service, to discuss topics including, “How to Use Data to Maximize Productivity” and “Transforming Business Through the Better Use of Data.”

“Kapow Enterprise 9.3 is an enterprise-ready data integration software suite that is perfect for CDOs who manage big data as part of their day-to-day operations,” said Stefan Andreasen, Founder and Chief Technical Officer at Kapow. “This solution gives users robust capabilities that make data accessible, affordable and actionable and enables the rapid delivery of critical information necessary to make better decisions.”

Using Kapow’s Enterprise 9.3 Synthetic APIs™ and its patented data integration flows, organizations can easily extract and integrate big data from any source. Data integration flows can be deployed as Kapow Kapplets™ via the Kapow KappZone™ library. Kapplets enable users to run and manage thousands of automated data integration applications at any time and explore an integrated view of disparate data in an interactive pallet in order to act on their findings.

We are always online. We access our data, our finances, work, and various services on the Internet. But we live in a congested world of information in which the roads were built two decades ago. The quest for better, faster Internet routing has been around for a decade, but nobody solved this problem. We’ve seen band-aid approaches like CDNs that attack a niche's slice of static content part of the Internet, but that’s it. It does not address the dynamic services-based Internet of today. It does...

The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to simplify and streamline our lives by automating routine tasks that distract us from our goals. This promise is based on the ubiquitous deployment of smart, connected devices that link everything from industrial control systems to automobiles to refrigerators. Unfortunately, comparatively few of the devices currently deployed have been developed with an eye toward security, and as the DDoS attacks of late October 2016 have demonstrated, this oversight can ...
