Ayasdi Delivers Model-Free, Query-Free Insight Discovery With Intel(R) Data Platform

Ayasdi Strengthens Real-Time Analysis of Massive Data to Solve the World's Most Challenging and Expensive Problems

PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/13/14 -- Ayasdi (www.ayasdi.com) today has announced that the company has partnered with the Intel® Data Platform. This platform integrates with Ayasdi's platform, the world's first Insight Discovery solution that uses Topological Data Analysis (TDA) and machine learning algorithms to enable the discovery of statistically significant patterns and features in data.

Ayasdi's platform utilizes the secure data layer featured in the Intel Data Platform as well as Intel® Xeon® Processors which provides up to a 20x performance boost over legacy infrastructures such as open source Apache Hadoop solutions.

"Large enterprises store massive amounts of data in Intel Hadoop-based environments and now that data can be easily imported into our Insight Discovery platform to find breakthroughs in cancer research, discover new sources of oil, and detect fraud," said Gurjeet Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of Ayasdi. "Together, we will power the next wave of data-driven innovations."

"The Intel Data Platform supports a wide variety of applications while providing improved security, reliability, and peace of mind to customers using open source software," said Jobi George, director of Big Data Software Product and Channels for Intel's Datacenter Software Division. "By combining the Intel Data Platform with solutions like Ayasdi's platform, customers will be able to find new insights in a secure and scalable environment that is designed for optimal real time performance."
