MIAMI, Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 18th, Grammy® award-winning artists Julieta Venegas and Los Amigos Invisibles will kick off the Sala Siete concert series presented by Jack Daniel's, America's leading whiskey, crafted in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The private concert series, which will run throughout the month of March, will visit cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago, among others.
The tour is part of the brand's sustained initiative towards the US Hispanic market through live music events, which started in 2005. The concert series has presented some of the most representative Latin alternative music artists such as Zoe, Babasonicos, Beto Cuevas, Aterciopelados, Enanitos Verdes, Rabanes and both latin funk party band Los Amigos Invisibles and Latin pop "princess" Julieta Venegas, which Jack Daniel's has paired for the first time in what promises to be the best one of these programs to date.
"Jack Daniel's 150-year heritage includes a long association with music," said Laura Petry, Brand Director for Jack Daniel's. "We're proud to bring talented Latin artists to the Sala Siete concert series for our friends of Jack to enjoy."
"I have been fortunate to be part of the Jack Daniel's tour on several occasions. It has always been a great experience both for my fans and me. I am very excited to kick off another tour with Jack Daniel's®, one of the few brands that truly embraces and supports our music." said Julieta Venegas, whose latest work LOS MOMENTOS has been nominated for a Latin Grammy.
At the same time, Los Amigos Invisibles' Catire Torres said: "we are very excited to be involved in this tour and we want to thank Jack Daniel's for making these types of events happen to support the Latin music in the U.S. See you on the tour!". Their latest album REPEAT AFTER ME, reached Billboard's Top Ten chart and also received multiple Grammys® nominations.
Domino Saints, a Puerto Rican Urban/Pop duet with an explosive sound and Ulises Hadjis, a raising singer/songwriter already generating buzz in magazines such as Rolling Stone and Billboard, will be the opening acts throughout the tour. The special guest DJ for all events will be Latin Grammy® nominee Mr. Pauer.
This year's Sala Siete will be produced once again by Miami-based Hispanic marketing company SHOCK Entertainment, which has worked closely with the brand since the first concert series and has been instrumental in developing the strong tie between Jack Daniel's and Latin alternative music acts and fans.
Starting on February 26, fans can register online at www.jacksala7.com for a chance to win tickets to one of these private concerts. Fans will be encouraged to share their personal content from these concerts on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #JackSala7.
Activities surrounding the events include pre-promotions at both on and off-premise accounts, local radio campaigns, public relations and social media efforts, street and on-line marketing, on-site activations during the events, artists meet & greet, giveaways, a VIP area and many other elements that will make this program a remarkable experience for consumers and a solid statement by Jack Daniel's as a spirit brand that supports authentic and independent music.

It has become clear that we'll need much higher efficiency user experiences that can allow us to more easily and scalably work with the thousands of devices that will soon be in each of our lives. Enter the conversational interface revolution, combining bots we can literally talk with, gesture to, and even direct with our thoughts, with embedded artificial intelligence, wh...

Web Real-Time Communication APIs have quickly revolutionized what browsers are capable of. In addition to video and audio streams, we can now bi-directionally send arbitrary data over WebRTC's PeerConnection Data Channels. With the advent of Progressive Web Apps and new hardware APIs such as WebBluetooh and WebUSB, we can finally enable users to stitch together the Internet of Things directly from their browsers while communicating privately and securely in a decentralized way.
