WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/14/14 -- Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE: SPN) announced today that it launched a new augmented reality campaign for Baroue - Let's Play! in honor of Kuwait's National and Liberation Days.
Baroue is Kuwait's first one-of-a-kind 6,500 square meter one-stop-shop for parents and kids, offering a wide variety of products and services for children up to the age of 12, many of which are exclusive only to Baroue.
In this trailblazing campaign, children who purchase a T-shirt with the Kuwaiti flag (available exclusively at Baroue) can watch the T-shirt come alive through the magic of augmented reality. To do so, children need to wear the T-shirt and stand in front of a custom kiosk in the store or use Snipp's Khayal augmented reality application on their smartphone and scan their T-shirt.
Overlaid on their T-shirt they will see an image of a beating heart in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag and an image of the Kuwait City skyline culminating with fireworks. Moms and Dads will then have the option of following Baroue on Instagram (@baroue_kuwait) and are encouraged to take a photo of their kids and tagging it with "#hala_baroue".
