SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ticket Down announces that they have slashed all ticket prices for Tool in 2014. This ultra-popular band has recently announced that they will be headlining at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego CA, Cedar Park Center in Cedar Park TX (Austin metro area), Selland Arena at Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center in Fresno CA and The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV.

When Danny Carey, Adam Jones, Maynard James Keenan Paul D'Amour created Tool in 1990, little did anyone know the group would go on to have the sort of career they do now. Not much has changed since then with the exception of Justin Chancellor replacing D'Amour and the group continuing to gain new fans and a new following each year. The group is set to hit the road next month for a tour beginning in Spokane, Wash. and has recently announced more dates that will allow their fans to check them out live in 2014.

Since 1990, the group has only released four albums, Undertow, ænima, Lateralus and 10,000 Days, all of which have been hits with their fans. All of the albums have been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than a million copies, including their lone three-time platinum 1996 release, ænima. Of those albums, only the last two have reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 charts and in the case of their most recent release, 10,000 Days (2006), it was their biggest worldwide hit, reaching the top 10 in many countries.

For groups like Tool, it is a different world when it comes to radio play and being exposed to new crowds. Alternative radio stations aren't found everywhere anymore, but with Internet radio stations, fans still have access to the entire Tool catalog of music. Through their first two releases, they were mostly considered an underground success, but with Lateralus, the group began to get more radio play because of songs like "Schism," "Lateralus," and "Parabola." They were able to follow up the success of those three singles with their next three releases, "Vicarious," "The Pot," and "Jambi."

When Tool hits the road in 2014 for trek on the west coast of the United States, they will be hitting the markets of many of their favorite venues and locations where they are most loved. Tool will be traveling to the following cities this year:  Spokane, Las Vegas, Portland, Eugene, Reno, San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, Cedar Park (Austin), Phoenix and Fresno.   The opening show will occur on March 4th at the Spokane Arena.  Some of these venues are smaller, while others are large stadiums used for sporting events.

Fans of Tool that have seen them perform live will wonder what they have in store for them this time around. The group has headlined different music festivals around the world including Lollapalooza, Coachella and Epicenter. They have performed with several of the greatest musicians in the business including Tom Morello, Serj Tankian and Tricky and have also covered many popular songs from Ted Nugent, Led Zeppelin and more. When they take the stage this March for their tour, they will likely have a unique stage setup with an elaborate light show that fans have grown accustomed to.

Digital Transformation is the ultimate goal of cloud computing and related initiatives. The phrase is certainly not a precise one, and as subject to hand-waving and distortion as any high-falutin' terminology in the world of information technology. Yet it is an excellent choice of words to describe what enterprise IT—and by extension, organizations in general—should be working to achieve. Digital Transformation means: handling all the data types being found and created in the organizat...

Container technology is sending shock waves through the world of cloud computing. With SaaS use rampant across organizations, how can IT departments track company data and maintain security? More and more departments are commissioning their own solutions and bypassing IT.
