DALLAS, Feb. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennifer Queen, who has extensive experience in developing and managing law firm recruiting and development teams, joined Baker Botts L.L.P. today as Director of Recruiting and Development. She will be based in the firm's Dallas office.
As Director of Recruiting and Development, Queen will be responsible for the management and oversight of Baker Botts' law school and lateral recruitment programs, as well as managing all aspects of the firm's lawyer development, training and evaluation programs. She will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees of the National Association for Law Placement Foundation for Law Career Research and Education and remain active in other professional organizations, and will coordinate implementation of development and training diversity initiatives with the firm's Diversity Counsel.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Queen led firm wide recruiting and development efforts over the past 20 years for Atlanta-based McKenna Long & Aldridge. While there, she worked with the firm's Hiring & Professional Development Committee to develop strategic plans for training, law student and lateral recruitment, associate evaluation process and other retention activities. Queen earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
