Video Visions Partners with a Flexible Voice Provider, Seamlessly Moves Facility

Video Visions, a privately held small business currently headquartered in Trevose, Pennsylvania, partnered up with Expert Technology Associates (ETA) in 2005 to improve their voice communication services. Specializing in video walls, systems, and large screen displays, Video Visions projects can be found around the globe - in broadcast facilities, Fortune 500 companies, universities, sports arenas, and government facilities. This partnership between Video Visions and ETA was tested in the summer of 2013 when Video Visions’ president, Mary Ellen Milanese-DiStasio made the decision to move her company to a new facility. The new facility provided Video Visions with a larger space to integrate their warehouse into their office, while also leaving space for a state-of-the-art demo room for their existing and prospective customers. “We made the decision to proceed with ETA at our new location because they had done such a good job in servicing and supporting our phone systems up to that point,” Milanese-DiStasio noted.

ETA was challenged with the task of moving an entire voice communications platform to a new facility during major construction, all while ensuring service was up and running at all times.

In light of the upcoming move, Video Visions met with ETA to discuss the best options for their new location – options that would inevitably affect their daily communications with customers and vendors. Milanese-DiStasio stated, “This meeting was an invaluable asset because they were actually able to teach us, and we put our trust into them for that.”

ETA used the discoveries found in this meeting to create a communications solution that would adhere to both their in-house and remote employees. This preparation set ETA up for what would be a very successful installation.

“Every step of the way ETA was out there. They worked around the general contractors that were putting in ceiling tiles. They were able to get everything done and met all of our deadlines,” added Milanese-DiStasio.

Although a move is never easy for a business, sometimes it’s inevitable. The one thing that Video Visions could not afford to lose during their move was communication with their customers. Through their partnership with ETA, Video Visions was able to not only stay productive and efficient throughout their entire move, but also retain the high level of communication that their customers had become accustomed to.

Milanese-DiStasio stated: “We are in an industry where people need answers and they want answers immediately. If you’re not available and that phone’s not working, things come to a standstill. We have been able to provide our customers with the immediate response time that they want and need because of a system that we purchased with ETA.”
