Nueterra Global Alliance Partners with Texas Institute for Surgery

Medical exchange leader continues to expand international collective

LEAWOOD, Kan., Feb. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nueterra Global Alliance (NGA) is proud to announce Texas Institute for Surgery (TIS) as its newest partner in a growing collective of domestic and international healthcare facilities.

NGA is continuing efforts to expand its partner network, and in doing so is working to advance healthcare options around the world and generate both inbound and outbound medical exchange opportunities.

"It has always been our aim at Texas Institute for Surgery to provide unparalleled surgical experiences and to be recognized globally as a surgical center of excellence," says David Helfer, FACHE, president of TIS. "Our partnership with Nueterra Global Alliance allows us to expand that mission and gives us an opportunity to serve an international patient population."

TIS, accredited by both the Joint Commission and American College of Radiology, is located in Dallas and is a joint venture with Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas; the facility offers a range of specialties including spine, orthopedics, ENT, cosmetics, pain management, oculoplastic ophthalmology and urology.

"It's truly ideal to have a multi-specialty surgical facility like Texas Institute for Surgery as an NGA partner," says David Miller, president of NGA. "International patients look to our domestic facilities—and their experienced physicians—for the types of procedures and medical technologies not available in their home country, and they rely on the affordability our partners provide through packaged pricing."

NGA works with every partner facility to develop packaged pricing options aimed at providing cost transparency and improved budget management for patients. Partners can also take advantage of academic and clinical opportunities and material resources made available through NGA.

Nueterra Global Alliance formalized its partnership with Texas Institute for Surgery in December 2013, and the facility is already approved to accept NGA-referred patients. To learn more, visit

DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. With recent technological advances from Isomorphic Software and others, rich desktop and tuned mobile experiences can now be created with a single codebase – without compromising functionality, performance or usability. In his session at DevOps Su...
