HOUSTON, Feb. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Practice Insight® (www.practiceinsight.net), a leading EDI software developer and claims processing provider, confirmed today it is again included in the Best In KLAS® 2013 awards, the results of which were released in late January of this year. According to KLAS criteria, Practice Insight ranked second among competing healthcare vendors in the claims and clearinghouse software category.
The Best in KLAS 2013: Software and Services report recognizes top-scoring healthcare vendors based on performance data submitted by healthcare providers. This year more than 16,000 healthcare providers shared their software and services vendor performance experiences with KLAS. For the 2013 Best In KLAS awards, the "claims and clearinghouse" segment was classified as a software category rather than a services category.
"We're highly gratified to receive this excellent recognition, ranking our company second among competitive peers," noted Practice Insight CEO Houston Johnson. "We're also pleased that KLAS elected to re-designate our classification as a software category, as we firmly believe Practice Insight's powerful and proprietary software, EDI Insight®, is what clearly separates us from the pack."
"We listened to the providers, and these are the results," said Adam Gale, CEO and president of KLAS Research. "This report isn't about KLAS. It is a reflection of thousands of providers who wanted to be heard and counted. That is the reason top-performing vendors should be proud of their achievements."
The 2013 results mark the sixteenth anniversary of the Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services report.
