LONDON, UK, Feb. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Landore Resources Limited (AIM:LND) ("Landore Resources" or "the Company") today announces the completion of a 3D DCIP + MT geophysics survey on the Junior Lake Property, Ontario, Canada.
Landore Resources has completed a deep-penetrating Quantec ORION 3D
"Direct Current Induced Polarization" and "Magnetotellurics" (DCIP +
MT) geophysical survey over the highly prospective B4-7 and VW Nickel
Trends. Preliminary findings will be available by mid-March with final
results anticipated in May.
- Appointment of Michele Tuomi to Director and Vice President of Exploration of the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary Landore Resources Canada Inc. ("Landore Canada"). Ms. Tuomi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Lakehead University, Ontario. She is a practicing professional geoscientist affiliated with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO), and is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
In September 2013, Landore Resources retained Quantec Geoscience, of Toronto, Canada ("Quantec") for the completion of an additional DCIP+MT ground geophysical survey over the B4-7 and VW Nickel Trends. The survey block spans from grid line 300E to 3700E and line 700N to 1500S, and is located directly adjacent to the east of Landore Resources' 2012 ORION 3D DCIP+MT survey block covering the Scorpion Zone.
This survey commenced on January 19, 2014 and concluded on February 10, almost a week ahead of the estimated 30-day schedule. Preliminary findings will be completed by mid-March with final results anticipated becoming available in May.
The DCIP + MT survey results will be utilized to delineate additional resource mineralisation at the B4-7 and VW deposits and to identify new potential sulphide mineralisation within the intervening 3 kilometre distance between the two deposits.
2014 Planned Works:
A 4,000 metre drill programme is scheduled to commence in H2 2014 to test prospective targets identified by the December 2013 ground Electromagnetic (MaxMin), VLF and Magnetic geophysical surveys, as well as the January 2014 3D DCIP + MT ground geophysical survey.
The Junior Lake property:
The Junior Lake property, 100% owned by Landore Resources, is located in the province of Ontario, Canada, approximately 235 kilometres north-northeast of Thunder Bay, and is host to; the Scorpion Zone which contains the B4-7 Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGEs deposit, the Alpha Zone and the recently-identified Exploration Target. Junior Lake also contains the VW Nickel deposit and numerous other highly prospective mineral occurrences.
Further information including an overview map of the January 2014 ORION 3D DCIP + MT survey area is available on www.landore.com

The demand for organizations to expand their infrastructure to multiple IT environments like the cloud, on-premise, mobile, bring your own device (BYOD) and the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to grow. As this hybrid infrastructure increases, the challenge to monitor the security of these systems increases in volume and complexity. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Stephen Coty, Chief Security Evangelist at Alert Logic, will show how properly configured and managed security architecture can...

A critical component of any IoT project is the back-end systems that capture data from remote IoT devices and structure it in a way to answer useful questions. Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle large data sets, but they are not well suited to many IoT-scale products and the need for real-time insights. At Fuze, we have developed a backend platform as part of our mobility-oriented cloud service that uses Big Data-based approache...

In the world of DevOps there are ‘known good practices’ – aka ‘patterns’ – and ‘known bad practices’ – aka ‘anti-patterns.' Many of these patterns and anti-patterns have been developed from real world experience, especially by the early adopters of DevOps theory; but many are more feasible in theory than in practice, especially for more recent entrants to the DevOps scene. In this power panel at @DevOpsSummit at 18th Cloud Expo, moderated by DevOps Conference Chair Andi Mann, panelists will dis...

The increasing popularity of the Internet of Things necessitates that our physical and cognitive relationship with wearable technology will change rapidly in the near future. This advent means logging has become a thing of the past. Before, it was on us to track our own data, but now that data is automatically available. There is an ever-growing explosion of new devices that are connected to the Internet using “cloud” solutions. This rapid growth is creating a massive new demand for efficient access to data. And it’s not just about connecting to that data anymore. This new demand is bringing new issues and challenges and it is important for companies to scale for the coming growth. And with that scaling comes the need for greater security, gathering and data analysis, storage, connectivity and, of course, the...
