Dr. Alfredo Tendler opens an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Dr. Alfredo Tendler is an accomplished Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon whose credentials and training reflect his commitment to deliver the very best care to his patients and leadership within his specialty. He received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont in 1991 and then received a Master's in Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University with high honors. He then earned his dental degree from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 1999, graduating Magna Cum Laude and awarded membership to the honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Boston University Medical Center in 2004. He also served as Chief Resident from the Boston Medical Center department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr Tendler is a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Miami Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and many local affiliated dental societies.

Having been the past President of the North Dade and Miami Beach dental society, he is actively involved in organized dentistry and committed to elevating the profession.

Dr. Tendler is on staff at numerous hospitals in South Florida including Delray Medical Center, Westside Regional MedicalCenter, Broward General Medical Center, and Memorial Hospital West / Miramar.

Dr Tendler has been in private practice in South Florida since 2004 and has provided a full scope of oral and maxillofacial care to his patients. He maintains an active surgical practice performing at least 8-10 complex implant surgery procedures each week, including the All on Four implant technique which gives patients teeth in one day, immediate placement and function of dental implants, treatment of the atrophic patient and hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures. Dr Tendler is a dental educator as he has lectured at both the local and national levels. He is truly dedicated to elevating his own standards of care and those of his colleagues.

His special surgical interests include dental implants and the All on Four Technique, Corrective jaw surgery, esthetic and functional facial reconstruction, Wisdom teeth removal, cancer, TMJ, and trauma surgeries. Dr Tendler is passionate about delivering the highest standard of care and prides himself on creating a personal relationship with each of his patients.
