XVII MIT Latin American Conference: Learn about the future of business and policy across the continent

How will macroeconomic policy changes affect different regions in Latin America? What industries will thrive in the coming decades? Which natural resources will affect business in Latin America?

Hear what Latin American business leaders have to say about these topics and more at the XVII Latin American Conference presented by MIT Sloan School of Management on March 8, 2014. The event will take place in the Stata Center, Building 32, on the MIT campus in Cambridge, MA. Industry experts, politicians, academics and students from across the globe are expected to attend to learn the latest developments on such issues as entrepreneurship, finance, sustainability, politics and private equity.

    Panelists will discuss what Latin America can supply to the world and how more value can be added to businesses. They will also identify bottlenecks for growth and opportunities and challenges to both private and public projects.

This year’s conference features the second Latin American Startup Competition, the only top MBA startup competition focused on Latin America. Finalists will present a ten-minute pitch to top Latin America business leaders and distinguished MIT Sloan faculty. Audience members are invited to learn from their feedback.
