Shaw Communications Makes Cheering on Canada That Much Easier With Full Guest Access to All Shaw Go WiFi Areas

Complimentary Shaw Go WiFi Network Access Will Be Available From Thursday Feb 19 to Sunday Feb 23 to all Canadians within Shaw's Footprint

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/19/14 -- Shaw Communications (TSX: SJR.B) (NYSE: SJR) is giving Canadians the opportunity to catch all the action as our Canadian athletes go for gold this weekend with complimentary open access to its extensive Shaw Go WiFi network. Open access will be made available beginning at 11:59pm MT on Wednesday, Feb 19 to 11:59pm MT Sunday, Feb 23.

Canadians can gain complimentary Shaw Go WiFi access on their smartphone, laptop, tablet or mobile device by selecting WiFi and then choosing the ShawGoCanada network. Complimentary access will allow for complete connectivity at all Shaw Go WiFi hot spots. Shaw customers can continue to connect seamlessly using the ShawOpen network.

With more than 30,000 hot spots located in businesses and municipalities from Victoria, British Columbia to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, access to Shaw's carrier-grade network will allow Canadians to stream live footage and content as our athletes go for gold.
