Big Rock Eddies: Are You Ready to Submit?

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/20/14 -- Big Rock Brewery Inc. ("Big Rock") (TSX:BR) is asking you to flex your creative muscles with Big Rock's annual Eddie Awards. Create a beer commercial (up to 60 seconds), a full-colour print ad about Big Rock in general, or the importance of enjoying Big Rock responsibly. This year the focus of Eddie submissions will be on Big Rock's Signature Series beers.

The 2014 Eddies mark our 21st year celebrating the creative genius of the beer drinker. When the Eddies began back in 1993, it was because we didn't think there was anyone better to create Big Rock commercials than those who knew and loved our beer - the Big Rock beer drinker. Since then, the Eddies have created hours and hours of raucous laughter for all of our Eddies judges and fans, and have even helped to launch acting, directing and graphic design careers all across our great country. This year's grand prize winners will be announced at the Calgary Eddies awards on Monday June 16th, 2014 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts.

Remember, it's about your love for Big Rock's craft beer, not how much your camera costs.
