In NASCAR, CGRT fields the No. 1 team of Jamie McMurray and the No. 42 Team of Kyle Larson. McMurray has consistently been a top contender for both race wins and the NSCS Championship. This marks the third year that CGRT will use Shorai LFX™ batteries in all of their NSCS race cars. Shorai LFX™ batteries provide superior performance and faster starting capabilities while weighing significantly less than traditional lead-acid batteries delivering both McMurray and Larson a key competitive edge on the track.

Rookie Kyle Larson takes over the No. 42 Car and will compete for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year honors against a large class of rookie drivers.
