North American Tungsten Announces Results of the February 21, 2014 Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/21/14 -- North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: NTC) ("NTC" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the results of the annual and special meeting of the shareholders of the Company held February 21, 2014 in Vancouver BC. At the meeting the shareholders of the Company:


--  Elected Brian Abraham, Ronald Erickson, Kurt Heikkila, Allan Krasnick,
    Dennis Lindahl and Bryce Porter to the board of directors until the next
    annual meeting;

--  Reappointed PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as auditors of the Company for
    the fiscal year ending September 30, 2014, and authorized the board of
    directors to fix the remuneration of the auditors;

--  Approved the Company's stock option plan as more fully described in the
    information circular dated January 20, 2014 (available for viewing on
    SEDAR); and

--  Approved the share conversion feature of convertible debentures issued
    by the Company, which resulted in the creation of new "Control Persons"
    of the Company, as defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange
    and more fully described in the information circular dated January 20,
    2014 (available for viewing on SEDAR).

Subsequent to the annual and special meeting, the board of directors re-appointed Kurt Heikkila as the chairman of the board of the Company and appointed Bryce Porter, Brian Abraham, Allan Krasnick, and Dennis Lindahl as members of the Audit Committee.
