LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Feb. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zebra Technologies (NASDAQ: ZBRA) a global leader in products and solutions that provide real-time visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, and Kit Check, the leading provider of automated hospital pharmacy kit processing software, today announced a partnership that will integrate devices used in Kit Check's solution into Zebra's Zatar platform, a new cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform for enterprises. Zebra and Kit Check will discuss how both products can be used together at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2014 conference and exhibition beginning on February 23, 2014 featured at booth #6577.

Zebra's Zatar solution provides collection, control, and management of thousands to millions of devices in a simple and easy IoT platform, while Kit Check helps hospitals automate pharmacy kit restocking and verification processes using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. "We are excited to partner with Kit Check to make it easy for hospitals to take advantage of IoT opportunities and address tasks that are extremely time consuming and error prone."
