The software enables a rich entertainment experience across smart-phones, tablets, set-top boxes, smart TVs and connected devices.
The HEVC decoder for ARM processor provides scalable performance by utilizing ARM NEON SIMD and multi-core processor technologies. It is scalable up to 8 cores and enables 60 fps playback of 1080p HD resolution content on quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 processor. The software enables the creation of high-quality player application on existing Android, iOS and Windows Phone 8 based tablets and smart-phones.
The HEVC decoder for x86 processors enables 60fps playback of 4K resolution content on quad-core x86 processors. This decoder is scalable up to 8 cores and utilizes the SIMD instruction set of x86 processors, adopting HEVC content delivery on current and previous generation x86 processors.
