Lucidlogix Showcases New Software, Adding Up to 50% More Battery Time on Leading Mobile Devices While Navigating, Browsing or Playing Games

PowerXtend™ software lengthens mobile time on 2D/3D applications providing more power capacity

BARCELONA, Spain, February 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Lucidlogix® (Lucid) today at MWC 2014, the world's largest and most prestigious mobile event, exhibited its advanced PowerXtend™ software product Suite including GameXtend, WebXtend and NavXtend. Optimized for Android-based smartphones and tablets, PowerXtend is an efficient power-saving software product that enables Android users to lengthen mobile usage time while playing, navigating or browsing, by adding as much as three additional hours of enjoyment from a single charge.

GameXtend can increase mobile battery life by as much as 50% and can be found in over 10 million mobile devices worldwide since its launch in September 2013. GameXtend is a 'power-aware' software that uses advanced algorithms to reduce power draw in real-time, resulting in extended play time and less app interruption. Further, GameXtend mitigates other typical battery management functions like screen brightness and voltage utilization, keeping the device cool and comfortable when in use.

GameXtend is a fusion of newly-developed, patent-pending technologies combined with existing patented Lucid technologies used in in tens of millions of notebook and desktop PC systems on the market today. The software is designed with mobile-specific ARM and Android architectural support and is title-agnostic. GameXtend has been tested to work with hundreds of popular 2D, 3D and casual games.

Showcasing its PowerXtend software at MWC marks an important milestone for Lucid. The product has already achieved noted market success and has attracted a growing appeal in millions of devices around the world. PowerXtend gives users an enhanced, high-quality gaming experience and extended hours of entertainment.  Adina: I think that one sided quote in this case gives us no value.  I think this should be turned into a paragraph.

GameXtend is available for integration into Android-based mobile devices. Interested manufacturers are invited to [email protected] to schedule a demo during MWC or for more information.

Microservices are a very exciting architectural approach that many organizations are looking to as a way to accelerate innovation. Microservices promise to allow teams to move away from monolithic "ball of mud" systems, but the reality is that, in the vast majority of organizations, different projects and technologies will continue to be developed at different speeds. How to handle the dependencies between these disparate systems with different iteration cycles? Consider the "canoncial problem" ...
