To help organizations more easily manage their social content for Facebook, including company event calendars, iMedia worked with Kentico to create the Kentico Facebook Connector. The solution provides marketing managers with a powerful tool to manage both their social and website content within a central workspace.

"Increasingly, the power of marketing in today's social media driven world comes down to content," said Joel Macaluso, CEO of iMedia. "With the new Kentico Facebook Connector, customers can more efficiently launch content marketing across the website and social environments for greater fan engagement and overall campaign success."

The Kentico Facebook Connector has four main components, which together give marketers the opportunity to engage fans more efficiently and securely:

  • Event Management
  • Image Management
  • Content Management
  • Facebook Insights Widget

With Kentico Facebook Connector, users have the ability to promote safe brand interaction with messaging while using the monitoring capabilities to supervise Facebook comments. Within Kentico, managers are able to create events and add photos, which automatically display on both the website and Facebook page in real time. Additionally, the Kentico Facebook Connector helps companies increase their reach and audience while providing useful analytics for future marketing campaigns.

"With iMedia, we're able to provide a cutting-edge solution that helps marketers more easily engage customers on Facebook and derive greater value from their social communities," said XXX, XXX of Kentico. "It's just one more example of how closely we work with our technology partners to add features and functionality to the Kentico CMS solution, so our customers can create sophisticated, successful campaigns."

In the world of DevOps there are ‘known good practices’ – aka ‘patterns’ – and ‘known bad practices’ – aka ‘anti-patterns.'
