BroadcastMed Spotlights: Live Surgical Cases from Baptist Health South Florida Center for Robotic Surgery on February 27, 2014

Get a firsthand look at the advanced operating techniques performed by the skilled surgeons at the Baptist Health South Florida Center for Robotic Surgery. On Thursday, February 27, 2014, surgeons will perform three LIVE robot-assisted surgeries, including urologic and gynecologic procedures.

The schedule for the Look In On Us surgical showcase is:

  • 9:00 A.M. EST – Robot Assisted Prostatectomy - Fernando Bianco, MD
  • 12:00 NOON EST – Robot Assisted Hysterectomy for Endometrial Cancer - John Diaz, MD
  • 4:00 P.M. EST – Robot Assisted Myomectomy - Ricardo Estape, MD

The team at Baptist Health’s Center for Robotic Surgery is one of the most experienced in the nation, performing more than 10,000 various surgical procedures since 2006. These live webcasts are a unique opportunity for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, students and other medical professionals to see how Baptist Health South Florida is helping revolutionize minimally invasive surgery.
