Erica Stowers-Thaler joins MMD Realty

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MMD Realty, the South Florida real estate firm founded in 2011, welcomes Broker Associate, Erica Stowers-Thaler, to their Fort Lauderdale Beach office. Erica has spent ten years building an excellent reputation as a Realtor® in the Fort Lauderdale area through hard work, dedication and total commitment to her widespread clientele.

Erica Stowers-Thaler employs her twin passions, real estate and children, to continue making a difference in the Fort Lauderdale community. As a young woman, Erica chose to dedicate her life to the well-being of children. She has served as a Guardian Ad Litem, mentors children through the Boys and Girls Club and has been active on their Board for over 10 years. Erica is currently President of the Lester White Boys and Girls Club, and is a Big Sister to Mollie (age 22) since she was 11. She is also an honorable trustee for the charitable foundation of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale. 

For several years running, Erica has joined local celebrities in sponsoring annual charity events. She has represented O.J. McDuffie's "Catch 81" golf tournament and Jeff Conine's charity for Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital. Erica sponsors the Boys and Girls Club bass fishing tournament with Channing Crowder as well as supports annual toy drives for O.J. McDuffie's event, and the Boys and Girls Club. Erica also served on the Boys and Girls Club's 26th annual Bahamas Showboat fundraiser. These are events where Erica dedicates her time and capital year in and year out.

Erica lives, works and loves the south Florida lifestyle. She invests her time, money and talent into bringing that comfortable lifestyle to others through her charities and her real estate career. Recently, Erica has been nominated for the 2014 Up and Comer Awards. In addition, Erica has been nominated several times as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County. This year, Erica has been selected as an Honoree for 2014.
